Synopsis :
“Dham” has been a monk for his whole life of 27 years in a temple in the north-eastern part of Thailand. He never goes out of the temple to anywhere. The “modern technology” or “Globalization” is unknown to him.

One day, Dham is informed about the death of his only elder sister due to the bomb incidents in a province in the southern part of Thailand, caused by a group of Muslim terrorists. His sister leaves Maria, her 7-year-old daughter alone in the world. So, Dham has to help his niece find her own father. Dham decides to temporarily leave his ordination for the matter. As soon as his niece finds her Malasian father, he will return to the temple where he belongs.

Dham begins to realize that his new experiences are totally different from his peaceful life as a monk in the temple, residing in the deep forest. Dham’s first taste of life earns him the feelings of disappointment and fulfillment, love and lust, and all other feelings that lead him to the heart of the Buddha’s teachings.

The fact that says “To hold on to things are the cause sufferings” and “Love always causes pain”, has become clearly understandable to him. Dham has come to another junction of life where there is only one way he can take. Will he return to his previous world, building a new bridge from his personal newly-found enlightenment that can truly connect Buddha’s teachings with human minds? Or will he listen to his heart and allow himself to experience the new-found life, circling around world of the passions, yet, bringing him the bigger-than-life love together with the woman he loves.
